Zhiyuan Jiang is a Professor at the School of Communication and Information Engineering(SCIE), Shanghai University, and serves as the Head of the Key Laboratory of Special Optical Fibers and Optical Access Networks (ACE-LAB). He received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, China, in 2010 and 2015, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Zhisheng Niu.
During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting scholar with the WiDeS Group at the University of Southern California (USC), advised by Prof. Andreas F. Molisch. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a researcher at Ericsson from 2015 to 2016, and later as a visiting scholar with the ARNG Group at USC, collaborating with Prof. Bhaskar Krishnamachari from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, he served as a wireless signal processing scientist at Intel Labs, Hillsboro, USA.He also serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Journal on Communications and Networks (JCN).
